Evesham Abbey It took about a one hour bus ride from Stratford to Evesham. On this ride I had a chat with a local, 77 year old lady who does watercolours. She got off the bus at a village where, she told me, Shakespeare used to come, and drink and sleep outside until he became sober. I think it was probably a place called Bidford that I came back to that afternoon.
