Lerwick and Sumburgh head
I was hungry because I spent a long time painting and missed lunch. There were a few restaurants in Lerwick. But "Motry's Bistro" was the only one I could find. They serve dinner from six o'clock so I got there just in time. There were no one but me for a while. I had mussels and lamb. The price was higher than pub prices and had no taste, to speak of. At midnight something very strange happened! Somebody knocked on my door and in no time he had crept into my bed. I poked him and said, "It's not your place". He got out at once saying, "Sorry, sorry". He really frightened me to death! The next morning I had to vacate Elma's B&B, and the landlady, Elma, was kind enough to give me a lift to the next B&B, "Brei View", to leave my luggage. Then she drove me to the bus station to check the departure time to Sumburgh, and after that she dropped me off at the museum. There was an exhibition of a local painter. I was inspired by his paintings of boats, so I painted some boats which were anchored in front of the museum.
