High Street, Elgin
I hardly know this town Elgin. I knew the name of Elgin from a TV program of a railway trip broadcast in Japan. There was no left luggage service at the station, so I dragged my bags to the tourist information centre at the end of the High Street. I asked a restaurant in the hotel to look after my luggage for a while. The hotel was near the station so I had to return there. I had lunch and left my luggage behind. I spent 5 hours in Elgin, painting three watercolours having two and half pints of beer and a glass of wine. Then I collected my luggage and went back to the station.
