Caledonian sleeper
The sleeper train to Inverness was fully booked so, instead, I took the sleeper which terminated at Edinburgh. I had to take a one and half hour train ride to Inverness. I met a Japanese lady in the waiting place of Edinburgh Waverly station and we talked together until Pitlochry where she alighted. She was tracing the trail of the great Japanese writer, Souseki Natsume. I was surprised that she had traveled around the UK more than me!
