First, I thought I would eat lamb shank for supper but I remembered the huge portion of the lamb I had eaten in Wales, so I asked them to make the starter of whitebait into the main course. It was a big portion and rather monotonous and tasteless. I crammed them into my mouth. The amount of the food in a pub is unpredictable, and more often than not it is too generous.
