"Wye Valley Walk", Tintern 05/08
Back to the Wye Valley Hotel to check in, I showed my pictures to the landlady and her husband. She recommended a Wye River Walk through the St Michel's Church yard, and I did so and reached The Old Tintern Rail Station. But it was like an open-air museum which I didn't have much interest in. On the way back to the hotel, I painted this brilliant scape. Unlike an architectural painting, I could paint spontaneously.
