I arrived at Newport before noon, but a receptionist at Travelodge wouldn't look after my heavy suite case before the 3 o'clock check in time. She suggested to ask at the station for the left luggage office. So, I went back and asked the ticket attendant. She said there was no left luggage facilities, but she told me about a Vodafone shop. I could activate the SIM which I bought at the super market in Monmouth. Then I tried to find the shops which look after luggage. This part of town is a mess! Eventually I abandoned looking for a shop and dragged my heavy suitcase, and ended up in this pub.
