"Audley End Station", Saffron Walden 19/08
On the morning journey to Hull I was waiting for the 10:06 bus to Audley End Station. But the bus came at 10:20 and I missed the 10:30 train to Cambridge. The next train would depart one hour later. The station master suggested another route to me and I took the train to Ely. I did this sketch while I was waiting 30 minutes for the Ely train. But subsequently there were a series of troubles and changes of routes to Hull. I felt relieved because I avoided Thursday and Saturday, as both these days were scheduled railway strikes.
