"St Dionysius Church with the Old Grammar School", Market Harborough 29/08
I did a day excursion to here from Leicester. The population here is one tenth of Leicester, and the number of pubs is also this ratio, I believe. But it is far easier to paint. I met Paul and his wife Kate who were drawing in their small sketch books. They came back from Italy recently and showed me their pencil and pen sketches of architecture. This was the first encounter with local artists who painted on the same spot as me in this almost two months of my painting holidays.
