"Missenden Abbey", Great Missenden 01/09
The rain had stopped after lunch, and I came back to this painting. I wanted to paint this splendid 500-year-old Lebanese Cedar. There was scattered debris of fireworks on the ground. I could imagine a gorgeous party which had been held here earlier.
