Village green : 1 Although my destination was to a pub at the highest point in Britain, there was no public transport to that pub, so I gave up going any farther. Reeth was an ideal village to paint. There was a nice village green surrounded by buildings and mountains in the distance. On the verge of the green there were benches which provided nice views.
