White Swan Hotel I traveled from Richmond to Stratford. Surprisingly, I was not in the mood to paint. I happened to see this hotel and recalled the lamb shank I ate last year at the same hotel restaurant. It was a nice traditional dish with strong mint seasoning. In the evening I went to a modern British cuisine restaurant which is on Sheep Street and was recommended by Ian, the proprietor of my B&B. I had lamb shank there but I felt something was missing. I might not try lamb without mint sauce next time.
