Avon River and Narrow Boats
From the "Arden Way" B&B, where I stayed, I made straight for the Avon River through the pub "Old Tramway", a children's playground, car parks, and a broad public green. In the morning I couldn't understand why on earth they need these enormous facilities.
There were many narrow boats moored along the bank. On the other side Holy Trinity Church loomed over them. The boarding travellers on the narrow boats couldn't have slept in late because they must have been disturbed by the clamorous church bell ringing on each hour.
