Canterbury Cathedral This year it was incredibly hot in England at the end of July. We heaved a sigh of relief for the coolness of the cathedral, but, of course, there was no cold beer and I couldn't spread out my watercolour equipment in the cathedral. I found a girl having lunch behind a pillar at a corner of a courtyard cloister so I did this painting from the next span to her.
