Canal Street, Manchester I stayed at a youth hostel in Manchester. Klaus, who is an Austrian landscape architect and who was one of my roommates suggested I visit Art Gallery in this city. It was a nice gallery with a substantial number of Pre-Raphaelites paintings. I needed some paints and watercolour papers so I went to an art shop, but it was closed on a Sunday. Behind the shop I painted this canal picture.
