In Inverness I arrived in Inverness at night and visited my favourite pub, "The Water Front". On the second day I walked the Ness Island trail and booked a bus excursion for the third day to Cromarty, as well as the fourth day's sleeper-train to London. The holidays were drawing to a close and I was not in the mood for painting.
