Leeds City Market When I was browsing through "The Times" and the "Independent" newspapers I realized that there are many wars in the world, even at Christmas! It was snowing on my first morning in England. I went to the city centre of Leeds by bus from my hotel in Morley. I visited a gallery which commemorates the work of the sculptor Henry Moore. The exhibition was entitled "Sculptures in Painting". I couldn't concentrate on the paintings, as I was reflecting that I had lost many artist friends this year. The captions told about the lives and work of various artists.
