Ormiclate Castle
I walked almost 2 hours. I saw many hares, their burrows, and some carcasses, and finally arrived at the ruin of an old castle. An old lady was approaching and I asked her where there was a restaurant. She answered that there were some restaurants in Linaclate, where I had come from, about a half hour bus ride away. Ormiclate Castle was built in 1701. It was under construction for 7 years, and 7 years later it burned down, in 1715. I couldn't imagine the days there were a king, a queen and vassals. Now I met only one old lady and a middle aged country local who were very friendly. |
