Lodging At the tourist information centre in Castlebay I tried to find accommodation, but it was all fully booked because of the Barra folk festival. From a public phone I tried to book a bed in the hostel. The man answered, "Unavailable", at once. When I got out of the telephone box it rang, and the next man who answered the phone told me there was a call from the hostel. A cancellation had just occurred and I could ?get a bed! Lucky!
