Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is a rope suspension bridge near Ballintoy. The bridge links the mainland to tiny Carrick Island, which is famous for its salmon fishing. The bus driver gave us only one-and-a-half hours there but we had to queue for a long time to cross the rope bridge, and to return as well.
