Bangor Pier I made it to the pier before the gate closed. The pier seemed very long indeed, though I don't know the exact length. Unlike Brighton Pier there were no lively attractions, only simple stalls selling goods. Still, it was charming, but the simplicity and emptiness made it appear very long.
