"The Armoury" pub, Shrewsbury I don't know the reason why it was named the "Armoury" but it never looked intimidating to me. It looked like a well-used library where the tables are set so as to see other people or to be seen, but not for study. They served many types of ale. I drank a pint of Shropshire Gold.
