"Shades" Back to Shrewsbury from Church Stretton, I wanted to walk and paint in the town. It was cold but very bright, and entirely different from the previous grey and soggy days. In the vicinity of St Alkumund's Church I found shadows of the trees cast on the bright facades. It was very attractive.
