"Ray Mill Island" #1 A little up the river from this point there is the entrance to Boulter's lock where boats cruise along the waterway. At the top end of the island, the River Thames forks into two streams again. This side is the small tributary river, whereas the main stream runs down through Boulter's Weir and kayak flume, which are on the right-hand side of this picture.
