"St Catherine's," Jersey.
There was only myself and a girl from Switzerland at breakfast in the dining room of the Avoca Villa B&B,on St. Helier,Jersey. The table were assigned a room number and her table was next to mine. Breakfast was strictly served from eight thirty to nine. So we talked every morning and exchanged information during my 5 days' stay. On the first morning I bought some sketch books at WHSmith on the Kings Road and visited the TIC to learn about nice places to paint and how to get there,as I usually do,when I visit a new place. I chose St Catherine's as the first painting spot. There was only a long quay, except for the immence sky and the open sea.
