"The Feather hotel Bar"
I didn't go in to the restaurant section because of its expensive prices. I ordered fish and chips and a local ale without a moment's hesitation. Many seats in the pub lounge were worn and some seemed to have no springs. The barmaid had trouble with the cash register and beer pumps, and quite a few people were waiting for beer or to pay, I took advantage of this hiccup and was able to paint people easily. I regret I didn't visit the inn opposite, The Bull Hotel, which Wikipedia described as the best surviving medieval inn in Ludlow.
