"The River side Hotel Bar", West Drayton
On the last night on the last page of my moleskin note book, I painted the bar of a workingmen's hotel. A young worker from Birmingham and his colleague were interested in my sketches and they asked me to show them my other big pictures. I tried to explain the special attraction of The National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, but the name slipped my mind. I asked them about the famous TV automobile series but they talked about many other programs. When we separated I suddenly remembered the name of the TV series- "The Top Gear!"
