"Lindisfarne Castle" Fast-moving tides put the causeway to Holy Island under water twice-daily. We preferred taking a taxi rather than the limited bus service. When we finally arrived at the island, we had a hazy view of Lindisfarne Castle through the mist. As we got closer, we could see the whole castle covered with scaffolding. |
