"The Old Bridge", Pershore Pershore Old Bridge has about a 600 year history, but much of the construction remaining today is dated to 1644 when it was almost destroyed during the English Civil War. Then it was restored from stones taken from the abbey and the nearby castle. I couldn't get a good vantage point to paint this bridge and learned again that trees, grasses and all vegetation were never my forte. |
