"HMS Warrior", Portsmouth
It was raining all through my travel from Haverwest to Portsmouth. When I reached Portsmouth harbour, the rain had stopped but the wind was a bit blustery. I put an early end to this painting of HMS Warrior, one of the first ocean-going ironclad warships. And I found a shelter in the near-by pub, Ship Anson, which was packed with tourists, some of whom were enjoying dressing up in pirates' costumes.
