"Cartwright Hall", Manningham district of Bradford
There is a David Hockney Gallery in this hall. The great artist is still experimenting with various two-dimensional representations. There were many children around the boating pond. I tried to paint the pond, but there was a downpour of torrential rain and thunder so I gave up painting and looked for some pubs. The area is Manningham, the old Jewish area of Bradford, but it is now an Asian-area. There is the huge Lister's Mill building with its tall tower on the hill. I thought it looked like a prison with a watch tower.
