"The White Swan pub", St Albans
When his eyes first focused on me, Fergie, the man on my right-hand side initiated a conversation. He had seen me painting in the town. Then I painted this pub sketch. Alban, who is the man standing was especially pleased this painting and bought me a pint. On the beam there was a quotation from Oscar Wilde : gThere is only thing worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about. . . h The barmaid is Franky, and the man wearing a cap is Chris. They were all easy to be around.
