"Avellino", Ross-on-Wye 31/07
It was Sunday 31 July; the weather report said it was the record driest July in England. I have been in my room of The Old Court Guest House to sort out over 80 paintings so far in this painting holiday, into 'Power Point.' It was 12 o'clock when I finished 30 pictures. I stopped this work and went out for lunch. When I opened the door to the street, I realized it was raining. So, I chose a nearby Italian restaurant "Avellino". When I finished the sea food spaghetti and this painting, the waitress came up to me with a look of curiosity at my pub sketch. And I allowed her to take a photo of this picture. She served a cup of espresso coffee, which I ordered, for free. Not only her but the couple who were siting diagonally to the rear also asked to take a look at my sketch book.
