"The Monmouth Viaduct or Chippenham Meadow Viaduct", Monmouth 02/08
This was the second recommended sketching spot I learnt about this morning. I walked along the WyeRiver side a big red rusted iron bridge appeared, and then behind it there was a ruined red stone viaduct. Now a 23m steel lattice-girder for a viaduct was laid across the river as a foot bridge. I painted a stone viaduct in the field of thistles and they irritated my hands.
