At Chepstow station, a young couple told me the train was canceled. Probably they had requested a replacement bus. Shortly after we took the bus which carried only 4 passengers. It was hot and the strong sunlight from the west was beating down relentlessly during the bus ride. Arriving at Newport I didn't want to go back directly to my hotel room which was also facing west. I had time to cool down and waited for the sunset over a pint of cold beer and a glass of water with ice cubes.
