"Darley Abbey", Derby 28/08
I was searching The Abbey, walking along the river Darwent side for almost one hour. But Google Maps led to the residential area called Darley Abbey. I asked local people about The Abbey. But no one knows The Abbey. Eventually, I ended up at the abbey which had been a church, and then converted to the pub named "The Abbey." I painted this picture from the opposite current pub. I talked to several regular customers. Stephany was one of them, and she commissioned me to paint her house.
