"Wavery, pub#1", Peterhead 17/09

The eighth short sojourn was Peterhead. The landlord of the guesthouse in Montrose where I stayed for a week gave me a lift to the train station. He said Peterhead is his mother's hometown and gave me a warning that it was even colder. I took the train for an hour to Aberdeen, and then it took nearly two hours by bus, including the waiting time, to reach Peterhead. I waited for Mary Brown, the landlady of the Brown's Guest house, at the Waverly Pub. Here is a sketch I made while I was there.
