"Captain Digby", Margate 17/10
It was a sunny but cold windy day, and it took me about an hour and a half to get from the B&B to Captain Digby, by bus and on foot. After getting off the bus, I marched along the boardwalk on the cliff top in a terrible wind, leaning forward to avoid having my hat blown off. I painted this picture while fighting the wind on a bench outside before the pub's opening, looking at Kings Bay Castle in the distance.
