"Palace Hotel and Colomba Hotel on the opposite bank of the Ness River", Inverness
I had planned to have lunch with John at the Waterfront Pub at 1 o'clock. Since I had some time, I painted a second large picture. Neither this picture nor the previous one was painted from a new location. I was very familiar with this area.
