Morning picture #1 I couldn't sleep well because of noise from the TV in the next room. I banged on the wall at 10p.m. It was still bright outside and the sun hadn't set yet. In April, when I was staying in Bali I started the day with a sunrise picture and painted the sunset as the last painting of the day before dinner. However, this time in Scotland the sun set after I went to bed and rose gradually long before I woke up. I woke up at 4 o'clock and stayed in bed until half past five, took a shower and went out to paint the Scottish morning. It was very cold.
