The Ferry Again we painted under a parasol at "The Ferry" in Cookham. But this time it was a big water-proof one and the chairs were dry. I used masking fluid to depict raindrops sticking to the rails. In Japanese there is a definitive word "shizuku" which means for instance the one raindrop sticking on the tip of a pine needle. We find the beauty of the universe in such a small phenomenon.
