Brig O'Doon Roger had an appointment to meet a lawyer in Ayr. So I went along with him. I was dropped at the parking lot of Robert Burns Center. It seemed like I was in the middle of nowhere at first. But every place was in the vicinity. I visited Burn's memorial tower and decided to paint this bridge. I like to paint bridges but it's difficult, especially if it is in a valley. We could reach the bridge easily, but it's not easy to find a place to capture the whole shape of the bridge.
