"Cowane's Hospital," Stirling.
This building was originally established as an almshouse from the estate of the merchant John Cowane and was later used as a Guildhall. During painting where I was sitting at the foot of Holy Rude Church,I was busy running back and forth to the bathroom of the coffee shop in this building a result of the two pints of beer I drank at lunch time!
