"The Butter Cross", Chippenham The second final day of this year's 56-day painting holiday in the UK, I took a one-day excursion to Chippenham. The Butter Cross was once sold to Castle Combe and was brought back to the Market Square in 1995 after a local campaign. I thought it did not look accustomed yet to its new surroundings. |
