"Ancient House", Ipswich 12/10
I went to Marks & Spencer to buy food for tonight and the next morning and returned to my room. It was cloudy but the rain seemed to have stopped, so I took some painting equipment and went out to paint a large picture. I painted The Ancient House, dating from the 15th century, from under the eaves of a closed store I had spotted earlier in the morning. The reflection of many people coming and going on the wet street was a nice scene, but I could manage to paint only one person in this picture.
